Summary
- Enhanced Bells Virtual Scribe to allow administrators to configure a patient as “Patient Refused Recording”. This will prevent recording sessions where the patient is present. Dictated session can still be completed for the patient.

Virtual Scribe
- Enhanced Bells Virtual Scribe to allow administrators to configure a patient as “Patient Refused Recording” in the web. Bells Mobile has been updated to respect the new setting. The new configuration will prevent recording sessions for being started where the patient is present. Dictated sessions can still be completed for the patient.
Progress Notes
- Enhanced Custom Note Section Calculation to include the ability to subtract durations. There is a new calculation type for Duration Subtraction. Duration question types as well as Session Time sections can be included in the subtraction calculation.

- Corrected a bug in the Expand Acronym Clinical Recommendation rule that wasn't properly handling case sensitivity.
- Fixed an issue in Custom Note Sections not inserting newly added questions in the correct place in the question list.
- Addressed a bug in the Clinical Recommendation Summary report not showing data in the view data display for the Clinical Recommendation usage graph.

Bells Virtual Scribe
- Enhanced Bells Virtual Scribe with consent occurrence functionality. On the consent configuration display there is a new setting for Consent Occurrence that allows Bells administrators to select how frequently the consent will present during the Virtual Scribe flow.
- Addressed a bug in group notes when the status is changed from show to no show after the note was created and one note in the group is already signed that mishandled the duration and caused a sync error.
- Corrected a bug on independent notes that were not including custom note section content question types when answers were not provided to questions after the content question type in the progress note narrative.

Validations
- Added a new Validation for Insurance. The new Validation allows Bells administrators to configure to check that the patient has the appropriate insurance based on the service selected on the note. The validation can be configured to prevent the start of note or warn at the start of the note.
Bells Virtual Scribe
- Enhanced the User Management counters to include a counter for users that have Bells Virtual Scribe enabled.
- Added a new tab to the Patient Chart for Consents. The new Consents tab shows all consents for the selected patient, users can click the consent to see the consent language that was signed off on and the signatures for the consent.
myAvatar
- For myAvatar users, added a new toggle setting on Text sections in the Note Type Configuration for “Hide for group notes”. When toggled on, text sections will be hidden for group notes where the note type is used. The individual progress notes will continue to include the text section. When toggled off, the text section will continue to show on group notes and individual progress notes.
myEvolv
- For myEvolv users, enhanced group notes to allow Bells administrators to configure a custom note section in the group summary of the note so questions can be answered at the group level instead of within each individual note for the patients in the group.
- This update requires myEvolv release 11.0.0200 (available January 2025).
- Once your organization has installed this update, please request the feature to be enabled in Bells.
- For myEvolv users, updated the Subreport functionality in Bells to show a read-only table of data when configured in the Imported note questions. A new question type for “Table Report” can be imported from the associated myEvolv form to show in Bells when writing notes.
- This update requires myEvolv release 11.0.0200 (available January 2025).
- For myEvolv users, Bells started respecting the treatment plan expiration date. Any treatment plans that have expired will not be visible unless the progress note's session date is prior to the expiration date.
- For myEvolv users, corrected a bug preventing the practitioner signature from showing on the note in myEvolv. This only occurred for imported question types for Signature where the signer type was set to Practitioner.
- Addressed a bug on the Signed Notes report when the data is exported, the date sort applied to the data was not reflecting in the export.
- Fixed a bug related to signatures when using Bells on an iPad causing an alignment issue for the signature display.
- Addressed a bug introduced with Mobile Patient Signatures unexpectedly locking down session details and applying the Mobile Signatures tag when a Virtual Scribe Consent signature was applied to the session.

Summary

Group Notes
- Updated progress note displays for group notes to include a note counter. In the unsigned notes and open sessions widgets in Bells, a counter for the user shows on the far right side of the record in the list. The counter shows the number of their unsigned notes in the group, the total unsigned notes for the group and the total notes (signed and unsigned) for the group.
- Enhanced Group Notes to include remember functionality. When a group note is NOT started from an appointment, Bells will pull the session details, practitioners and patient assignments from the last signed group note for that group.
Progress Notes
- Note Types now have configuration on the Goal Section to configure a Custom Note Section instead of the Goal Comment. The new setting is labeled “Override Goal Comment”, when toggled on a dropdown selection for the Custom Note Section shows.
Custom Note Sections
- Enhanced Custom Note Sections to have an additional level of filter configuration at the question level based on show status. Prior to today, Custom Note Sections could be configured to be filtered based on Show status for the note. Now, in addition to the form level, we also have the configuration at the question level allowing questions to show or not based on the show status for the note.

Application
- Updated Search Fields throughout Bells where a “View All” is included to launch the view all from the magnifying glass icon within the search as well as from the View All hyperlink.
- For myAvatar users, corrected a bug in the Mobile Signatures handling for organizations that have the myAvatar Note Type organization preference set to Program, preventing the myAvatar note type from being selected when Mobile Signatures were present.

Bells Virtual Scribe
- Enhanced Bells Virtual Scribe with a speaker distribution display. The new display shows on the Transcriptions tab and within the left pane of the note editor; it shows the breakdown of who spoke during the virtual scribe session and what percentage of the session they spoke.
Group Notes
- Updated Group Notes to include a new button to copy the Show status Summary to the No Show and Cancelled statuses.
- Corrected a bug in the overlapping note logic that was including notes where the user was listed as co-practitioner, secondary therapist or group administrator. The overlapping note logic should only include notes where the user is the primary author.

Custom Note Sections
- Updated Custom Note Sections Long Text question types to have the ability to configure a Paragraph Break in the right pane settings. When set, the text in the question will not merge with the output before or after the question. There will be a paragraph break before and after the question.
Application
- Enhanced the unsupported browser language alert that shows in the top right corner of the application when you're on a browser that is not supported for Bells.
- Removed the recently added “Add Paragraph Break” setting on the Long Text question types in Custom Note Sections to update the functionality. This was hotfixed to Train and Production on 12/20/2024. The updated enhancement it in this release (see notes above).
- For myEvolv and CT|One users made a fix to allow users to edit session information after a note is started including the enrollment.
- For myAvatar users, corrected a bug in Imported Custom Note Sections forcing the Include in EHR note narrative toggle on. This toggle setting isn't valid for Imported Custom Note Sections.
- For myAvatar users, made a fix to stop using the max character limit for question types that are not short or long text in Import and Assessment type sections. This was preventing notes from being signed when an answer option had more than the max character limit.
