Bells Announcements

In the left menu bar under Organization Settings Bells Administrators can configure announcements to show for all users in the org.

When configured, announcements present to users one time when they log in. After being closed, announcements can be re-accessed via the notifications icon in the top right corner of Bells. Bells administrators can configure multiple announcements but only one announcement can be active at a time based on the configured Start Date/Time and End Date/Time.

The display grid for announcements is sorted by Date. It shows the Name, Full Text and Start Date/End Date for the announcement. On hover of the row, users can copy announcements to configure new announcements or delete outdated/no longer needed announcements.

When + Announcement is selected in the top right corner, you can configure a new announcement.

Name is for the title of the announcement and has a 100 character limit.

Full Text is for the body/main text of the announcement and has a 3,000 character limit.

Start Date is a date/time picker to select when the announcement should start displaying for users.

End Date is a date/time picker to select when the announcement will no longer display for users.

Note: Once an announcement is sent out and the Start Date/Time is in the past, the Full Text and start date for the announcement is locked down and cannot be edited.

When users log in, they will be presented with the Announcement one time.

If the announcement needs to be seen again, users can check their notifications in the top right corner of Bells via the bell icon. Clicking the announcement redisplays it the same way it presented originally.
