The Medication Module contains the client’s medication history and allows for management of the client’s prescriptions and external medications.
Client Demographics
The top section of the Medication Module window displays the client’s demographic information, client allergies and access to client medication reports.
Reports
Med Log
This report contains the client’s allergy information, current and expired meds that have been prescribed by an agency provider. This report offers both an alphabetical and script date order.
Current Meds
This report contains the client’s allergy information, current medications prescribed by an agency provider and external medications recorded in the medication module but not prescribed by an agency provider.
Med History
This report contains the client’s allergy information, current and discontinued medications prescribed by an agency provider and current and discontinued external medication.
Current Meds Detail
This report contains the client’s allergy information, current medications and instructions prescribed by an agency provider and external medications with the instructions recorded in the medication module but not prescribed by an agency provide.
Prescribed Medications
This section lists the client’s current and discontinued medications prescribed by an agency provider. Also included is a history of medications where the script was printed more than once. Double clicking a medication will display the full script in the Enter Med window view.
Issued Medications
This section displays the issue history for the selected medication. When eprescribing it also displays the status of the escript transmission. The history can be filtered to show only the last 90 or 180 days by selecting the option from the Prescriptions/Scripts drop down list.
EScript Alerts
Hover over an alert to display the description or the error/alert details, right click on the status icon and select View History to see the full transmission details.
External Medications
This section displays medications, over the counter vitamins and supplements, etc. the client is currently taking but were not prescribed by an agency provider. The entry of external medications does not require entry of all script details.
Quick Add: Opens the External Medication entry window.
Create Med Order from External Med: Opens the prescribing window with the available information from the external medication window.
