The Start Note flow has been optimized to bring all of the progress note functionality and documentation types that have been introduced all into one place. For more information on the standard progress note optimized start note, check out the Progress Notes - Optimized Start Note article. 

The configuration of Multi-Service has not changed. This article is only covering the changes made with the Optimized Start Note update.

Starting Multi-Service Notes

Multi-Service Notes can be started when the appropriate value in the session information details is selected for Multi-Service Note. 

Example below are from a myAvatar test environment, you may have less values in this menu in your environment. 

Setting up the Multi-Service Note

When you select Multi-Service Note from the Documentation Type menu, the Session Information displays for the multi-service note. 

If your multi-service note is started from an appointment, the service on the appointment is automatically selected for the note and is marked as the primary. When a multi-service note is started from an appointment, a Primary service must be selected for Bells to know what service to send back on the appointment when the note sync to the EHR.
