Place of Service 99 Configuration

The progress note can be configured to enter the name and address of location to support the place of service 99. This set up currently works with the printed HCFA and places the entered information into box 32. To use this feature with 837 claim files please open a ticket with CT|One support.

Set up requires two steps:

  • Enable flag
  • Update Guarantor Maintenance

Enable Flag

Set the EnableLocation99 Flag Value to “True"

Access:  Maintenance > Flags

Guarantor Maintenance

For any guarantor that requires the place of service 99 to be defined and included on the claim complete the following set up. 

Access:  Billing > Maintenance > Guarantor

  1. Select the guarantor.
  2. Click the Edit button.
  3. Open the HCFA tab.
  4. Open the HCFA Options 4 sub tab.
  5. Set the Print POS 99 on HCFA Box 32 to "Yes"
  6. Click the Save button.
