User Dashboard


Odds are, when you open Bells, you land on the User Dashboard. 
This is a treasure trove of information.
Join me in a look through the dashboard, section by section, to review all of its nifty features!


Recent Patients, Patient Search, Notifications and User Profile

At the top of the Dashboard, you see the following header:

1. Patient Search - click here to search for your patient by last name, first name, initials, patient id, date of birth, phone number.

2. Notifications - keep an eye on this area for notifications of events such as someone sharing a Scribble with you.

3. User Profile - click here to access your user profile, where you can manage your PIN and other information.

4. Recent Patients - if you have accessed patients recently, you will see a row of cards running from left to right. Simply click a card to jump right to that patient's chart, or click in the upper-right corner of the card to start a note for the patient.


Metrics and Greeting

Use this section to see the impact you're making for patients and to understand how timely your notes are.

5. Daily Greeting - Every day, Bells will greet you with a different form of "Hello."

6. Metrics Filter - click on a time period to filter the Lives impacted, Notes Written, Late Notes, and Session time metrics.

7. Lives Impacted - how many patients you've impacted for the selected time period, as well as how that differs from the previous time period.

8. Notes Written - how many notes you've written during the selected time period, as well as how that differs from the previous time period.

9. Late Notes - how many notes were signed during the time period which exceeded your organization's threshold for signing a note. It also shows how that differs from the previous time period.

10. Session Time - your average session time for the selected time period and how that differs from the previous time period.

11. Bells Avatar - you may be surprised to see my fashions every now and then. Watch for new looks on Fridays.


Upcoming Agenda and Distribution of Services

Look to this section for planning your day and seeing which services you provide.

12. Upcoming Agenda/Recent Scribbles - Use this widget to see upcoming appointments in your agenda. If your organization does not use the agenda, you will see a list of your recent Scribbles instead.

13. Distribution of Services - this metric shows the services you have provided during the selected time period and what percentage of your time was spent in each service.

14. Distribution of Services Filter - click on a time period to filter the Distribution of Services metric.


Unsigned Notes and Sync Issues Widgets

The right side of the dashboard shows you the notes that need your attention.


15. Unsigned Notes - this area will show you a list of all your unsigned notes. 

You'll want to be especially mindful of any that are marked with a late note indicator!
 




16. Sync Issues - if your organization has opted to include this widget, you will see a list of notes for which Bells encountered an issue while sending the note to your EHR's care record. Click on items in the list to see more information so you can address the issue.


Start Note and Create Scribble

This area provides quick access to writing progress notes and scribbles.

17. Start Note - click here to start a new progress note. You will then be prompted to select a patient and then will continue to session details from there.

18. Create Scribble - click here to start a new Scribble. You will be navigated to the Scribbles display where you can enter your Scribble text.
