Identical logic as this was also implemented in remarkable.me in the Messaging function.

Remarkable.me Messaging Notification Updates

In an effort to benefit the Clients accessing Remarkable.me (client portal) we add pending notifications indicators to catch their eye so messages are not missed.

Added an unread indicator badge in the following areas:

  • Desktop view > Message tab in top header

  • Device mode > Menu icon

Note

The unread indicator badge is cleared once the messaging window has been opened and viewed.

User Management

Unsaved Data Alert

Users will now be alerted with a dialog message in the middle of the screen instead of a toast message that disappears after a few seconds. This will help the user understand that they have unsaved data prior to navigating to another tab and potentially losing the unsaved data.

  1. We removed the toast message notification when navigating from page/tab with unsaved data
  2. Added dialog box to alert the user when navigating from page/tab with unsaved data
    1. Dialog adds consistency throughout the AI application
      1.  Discard Action: Discards changes made on the tab (data NOT saved), user is navigated off the tab to desired location

General Tab Updates

  1. Removed items for the Staff's header displayed under their name in the Users profile page of UM > Users tab
    1. User's email address
    2. User's Staff ID
  2. Added items to the Staff's General Tab (UM > Users tab > General tab > Email Addresses section
    1. User's Personal Email moved directly under the Agency email field
    2. User's Staff ID
      1. Field is read-only, disabled from edits (mimics Windows login field)

Users List - Removed Status Column

Users 'Status' Column has been removed from the grid/list.

  1. Status has been added as a tag next to the staff members name
    1. Suspended = Suspended but not necessarily Inactive (use of suspend toggle required)
    2. Inactive = Inactive
    3. Null or No tag = Active
  2. Name column can be filtered as desired
